Project 2025: A $22 million, 180-day takeover

In January of 2023 the Heritage Foundation launched its Project 2025 plan (complete with a 922-page book) to build a database to recruit and train a conservative "army" to be ready to come to Washington to gut the "administrative state" and implement new policies as part of an anticipated new Trump administration. By providing people and tools, the $22 million effort envisions a rapid, 180-day takeover of the federal bureaucracy through a 4-point plan to streamline the firing process, curb union power, implement "market-based" pay and benefit cuts, and reinstate Trump's Schedule F executive order creating exceptions to civil service rules protecting career personnel.

Along the way, the FAA would be privatized, corporate taxes lowered, PBS and NPR defunded, healthcare and workplace regulations decreased, climate change efforts halted, and the CDC would stop collecting data on gender identity while ramping up surveillance and maternity data reporting systems. And that's only the beginning.

Meanwhile, the Republican Party's 2024 policy platform goes long on a Trump agenda, even as candidate Trump seeks to distance himself publicly from abortion and the divisive aims of Project 2025.

We have one goal, and that's to beat Donald Trump again, and those who would serve him. If he's not in office, the democracy termites can't get to work. Follow the UK. Follow France. Defeat authoritarianism.

VOTE in the primary and general elections.
Vote blue, no matter who. And vote blue all the way up and down the ballot.

And regardless of where we live, our vote totals across the nation show strength and speak for us against another attempt to steal an election.
