One of the most well-executed and watchable conventions in recent memory is over and our work begins in earnest. Supporting Democratic candidates up and down the ballot to provide legislative majorities at the state and federal level is essential to supporting the goals outlined by our Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
Our votes in every election, even when seats are not contested (as in our MA Democratic Primary on September 3) send a message of support to candidates. In the November 5 general election, Senator Elizabeth Warren will face a Republican challenger, and EVERY vote is important for the presidential election. Even in "blue" states like Massachusetts, a large number of votes will add to the nationwide popular vote total and speak volumes against any claims of a *win* by candidates who have not received a majority of votes.
