Threats to American Democracy Are Real

It's the last 'real' day of February that comes around every year. Tomorrow will be February 29, an extra day that marks both a Leap Year and a Presidential Election year and it will be for four more years before these come around again. But even that calendar confluence won't last forever because the Gregorian Calendar requires that the years marking the end of a century are only leap years if they are also divisible by 400 (2000 was, but 2100 won't be).

Our former chair, Susan Newton, shares some thoughts in our latest newsletter on the threats and actions we can take to keep our democracy healthy and thriving--to 2100 and beyond.
