The 10th Democratic Presidential debate will take place in Charleston, SC on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, a week ahead of the South Carolina primary. The event, which will air from 8:00 to 10:00pm on CBS and BET, is hosted by CBS News and the Congressional Black Caucus Institute in partnership with Twitter. CBS anchors Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell will moderate, along with correspondents Margaret Brennan, Major Garrett, and Bill Whitaker. Voters can use the Twitter hashtag #DemDebate to submit questions that might be posed to the candidates.
To qualify to participate, candidates have to meet either a delegate or polling threshold. Seven candidates have qualified as of February 20: Joe Biden, Mike Bloomberg, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer and Elizabeth Warren. The remaining candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, has until 11:59pm on February 24 to qualify.
