Town Building and Facility Update

In South Hadley, municipal buildings remain closed to the public until further notice to comply with the state order to socially distance during the COVID-19 outbreak. These include South Hadley Town Hall, libraries, senior center, schools, transfer station, DPW offices, and Old Firehouse Museum. South Hadley parks, playgrounds and playscapes, and playing fields are closed in accordance with state emergency orders and guidance on COVID-19. The Compost Area and Transfer Station resumed operation by appointment on June 2: https://www.southhadley.org/240/Public-Works.

As of May 8, Town recreational trails may be utilized by residents in accordance with State of Emergency orders and posted safety precautions, which include social distancing, face coverings, and following directional arrows when present to reduce face-to-face contact. If there are more than five cars parked in a lot or in the general area, residents are asked to wait or return later. The Ledges Golf Course has is for limited use in accordance with state guidance.
