SH DTC pitches in with SH Falls Cleanup Day

The South Hadley DTC will be joining the South Hadley Falls Neighborhood Association for its annual cleanup day on Saturday, October 31 from 9 AM to 12 Noon.

Anyone interested in helping with the cleanup is welcome to meet in the parking lot across from the Egg & I Restaurant at 9:00 AM.  Got your own rake, work gloves, or other potentially helpful tools?  Feel free to bring them! Stay for the whole three hours or for as long as you'd like – all contributions of time will be appreciated.

SOUTH HADLEY DEMOCRATS TO HOLD CAUCUS ON MAY 16, 2015, AT 1:00 PM

SOUTH HADLEY DEMOCRATS WILL HOLD CAUCUS TO SELECT 2015 CONVENTION  DELEGATES ON MAY 16, 2015, AT 1:00 PM AT SOUTH HADLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Registered Democrats in South Hadley will hold a caucus at the South Hadley Public Library, which is fully handicap accessible, on Saturday, May 16, 2015, to elect ten delegates (five male; five female) and four alternates to the 2015 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Registration begins at 12:30 and closes at 1:00 p.m. at which time the caucus will begin.

The caucus is open to all Democrats who were registered as of January 31, 2015, in South Hadley, and the South Hadley Democratic Town Committee warmly welcomes participants. Candidates for delegate and alternate must consent to nomination in writing and must be present at the caucus. In the spirit of inclusion, youth, minorities, and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be “add-on” delegates.

This year’s State Democratic Convention will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the MassMutual Center, Springfield, Massachusetts.

The South Hadley Democratic Town Committee meets on a regular basis, and meeting dates, time and location are posted at the Town website. South Hadley Town Election, Tuesday, April 14

South Hadley Town Election Day is Tuesday, April 14.  Polling hours are 7 am - 8 pm, and residents from all precincts vote at the high school.
