The community is invited to attend the South Hadley Master Plan Advisory Committee’s fifth and final public community forum.

Stand-Out for Just Immigration Policies

Everyone is invited to participate in a stand-out for just immigration policies. A 30-minute vigil will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10:00 to 10:30am on the sidewalk in front of the Center Church in South Hadley, across from the Village Commons on Route 116. Signs and flags will be available or your may bring your own.

Please park on the campus side of Church Street, or on Park Street, or at the Village Commons, but not on Church street right next to the church as the church youth group will be setting up there for a 10:30am car wash to raise money for the food pantry.

2019 Democratic State Convention

The 2019 Convention took place at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield on Saturday, September 14. Speakers included Senator Elizabeth Warren and Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action. Participants attended breakout sessions these topics: Green New Deal/Climate Change, Sustainability, Clean Energy; Building Bridges Not Walls/Immigration; Unpacking Race and Politics; Inclusive Economic Prosperity; and Spotlighting the Work of Coalitions/Allies.
