Pioneer Valley Women's March 1.18.20
The 4th Annual Pioneer Valley Women's March will take place in Springfield on Saturday, January 18, 2020. The march is being moved from Northampton to the Valley's biggest city to be accessible to more participants. Marchers will gather at 11:00am at Northgate Plaza (1985 Main Street) in preparation for the 12:00pm .7 mile march to rally at Springfield City Hall (38 Court Street), which is located across from Court Square. Together for 2020 and Beyond” Conference
The MassDems are excited to share the “Together for 2020 and Beyond” conference on Saturday, December 7th, from 9 am-5 pm, at Worcester State University! Alongside Indivisible MA and the MassDems, Swing Left, Progressive Mass, the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA), 350.org, Our Revolution Massachusetts (ORMA), Sister District, Progressive Democrats of America, many Democratic Town Committees and Women’s March local groups will also be participating in this conference. Some of the speakers at this conference include Representative Ayanna Pressley; Representative Jim McGovern; State Senator Jamie Eldridge; and Indivisible Co-Founder, Ezra Levin!
The conference will focus on group sessions, starting with election and issues strategies, and overviews. Then, the program will transition into more tactical and how-to sessions. Finally, the last session will be “bringing it home” – a chance for people to gather either by congressional district, by electoral focus, or by issue focus to plan how to work together to win in 2020. State Senator Jo Comerford's staff will be on hand for People's Office hours in South Hadley on Monday, December 9 from 10:00am to 1:00pm in Room 109 at South Hadley Town Hall, 116 Main Street. Second South Hadley Conservancy Conference

free program will feature David Boutt, Professor of Geosciences at
UMass/Amherst, who will speak on Environmental Tracers: the Assessment
of Sources of Water to Streams and Groundwater Production Wells in New
England.

Stand Out for Truth and Voting
Everyone is invited to participate in a stand-out to support Truth and Voting. A
30-minute vigil will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10:00
to 10:30am on the sidewalk in front of the Center Church in South
Hadley, across from the Village Commons on Route 116. Signs and flags
will be available or your may bring your own.
Vigils are held on the last Saturday of each month, and all are welcome.

Stand-Out for Just Immigration Policies
Everyone is invited to participate in a stand-out for just immigration policies. A 30-minute vigil will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10:00 to 10:30am on the sidewalk in front of the Center Church in South Hadley, across from the Village Commons on Route 116. Signs and flags will be available or your may bring your own.
Please park on the campus side of Church Street, or on Park Street, or at the Village Commons, but not on Church street right next to the church as the church youth group will be setting up there for a 10:30am car wash to raise money for the food pantry.

2019 Democratic State Convention
The
2019 Convention took place at the Mass Mutual Center in
Springfield on Saturday, September 14. Speakers included Senator
Elizabeth Warren and Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action. Participants attended breakout sessions these topics: Green New Deal/Climate
Change, Sustainability, Clean Energy; Building Bridges Not
Walls/Immigration; Unpacking Race and Politics; Inclusive Economic
