SOUTH HADLEY DEMOCRATS WILL HOLD CAUCUS TO SELECT 2015 CONVENTION DELEGATES ON MAY 16, 2015, AT 1:00 PM AT SOUTH HADLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY
Registered Democrats in South Hadley will hold a caucus at the South Hadley Public Library, which is fully handicap accessible, on Saturday, May 16, 2015, to elect ten delegates (five male; five female) and four alternates to the 2015 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Registration begins at 12:30 and closes at 1:00 p.m. at which time the caucus will begin.
The caucus is open to all Democrats who were registered as of January 31, 2015, in South Hadley, and the South Hadley Democratic Town Committee warmly welcomes participants. Candidates for delegate and alternate must consent to nomination in writing and must be present at the caucus. In the spirit of inclusion, youth, minorities, and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be “add-on” delegates.
This year’s State Democratic Convention will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the MassMutual Center, Springfield, Massachusetts.
